Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Jimi Hendrix, Early Syd Barrett era of Pink Floyd, Alice in Chains, Ac/Dc, Cab Calloway, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, $uicideboy$, Crystal Castles, Nirvana, James Brown, WAR, Le Merm (south american band), and alot of corridos & cumbias (mexican music)
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
My band would get the recognition it deserves, exposing our sound to the world would rejuvenate the music industry with authentic, soulful, & passionate music. It would range from slow-psychedelic ballroom music, to faster - grungier psychedelic rock. The whole point of our music is to aid with people finding their true selves, and to not blindly succumb to the folly that is the growing discouragement of individualism that has been forced since the late 1970s.
What would you do with $50,000?
My singer and I would likely purchase land to live off of, and seclude ourselves to put 100% of our energy towards the creation of our music. We would have had more music to put out, but my singer (whom is my fiancé as well) has been homeless around four times - had only just moved in with me. Our lives have been terrible, and this would promise us the future we deserve, most importantly the seclusion, clarity, and focus we need as musicians to spread the message of self love & peace
