Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I remember my dad always playing Tragically Hip or Stevie Wonder, The Beatles. Jimi Hendrix too. All of that brings things to me and gives me reasons to do it. I know deep down they all did it for themselves. I like the ones who have their own agenda that won’t be changed. Changing the world 100 years later.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It wouldn’t do anything. I just want it. I’m selfish.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would give some to family. Probably take the rest to college or start a kick ass brand or something. A real onomatopoeia type image. BAM! You’ll see me.
