Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I wouldn’t say one artist shaped how I make music, but J. Cole was who I listened to the most growing up. My sound’s more inspired by the 2017–2018 SoundCloud wave—real raw energy—but I mix that with the R&B I’m into now, like Chase Shakur or Brent Faiyaz. It’s a blend of both worlds.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would help me tap into a bigger community so I can give back the same energy that’s pushed me this far. It’s not just about me—it’d shine a light on the friends I make music with too, giving us the exposure we need to grow and level up as artists together.
What would you do with $50,000?
First thing I’d do is help my mom—she’s going through a tough time and really needs a car right now. The rest would be a symbol for me and my team, a reminder that our hard work is being seen. It’d push us to go even harder, knowing this is just the beginning and we’re on the right path.
