Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My inspiration for just liking music started with bands like GnR, Faith No More, Alice In Chains, and STP, then adding in bands like Wu-Tang, Biggie, Limp Bizkit, and Deftones. Now, it’s Dropout Kings, Sueco, Architects, and more. MY writing inspiration has always come from my pain, anger, resentment , and moments of inflated ego. But lately I’ve branched out musically, exploring other ideas and genres and been loving it cause I proved to myself that I can do anything I want musicall
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Well first I’m from New Jersey 10 minutes over the GWB. I lived in NYC also not long ago. SO MANY people I know and love would be able to go and watch. Also, the exposure to an audience of that magnitude is something I need to go forward. Getting the my name and music out there to so many is crucial. There are so many great artists in the world today, and most all want a career in this but never get the chance to make an impact performing in front of such a large number of people.
What would you do with $50,000?
If I won the $50,000 I’d take it and the exposure from this and roll that, into a tour or towards a big media campaign or promotion. I plan to create more opportunity for my music to be heard from this opportunity, but, I wanna make sure I help someone who needs it if I can. That being said, I’m willing to push the envelope as far as I have to musically and personally.
