Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My musical inspiration has been a lot of oldies music that I grew up listening to. The main artists that have inspired me have been Mac Miller, Phora, & Hi-Tone. These artists have made me see that with the ability to learn, know, and play music there comes a great responsiblity with it. That the muse speaks volumes through me for others to feel. How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would impact my career by providing me with the necessary tools to be there for others, to connect, to better my musicial talents but to provide a place of authenticity for those who deserve to be heard and seen. It will allow me to see that my talent is beyond the creativness I put forth, but through the lens of bringing the world together.
What would you do with $50,000?
Winning the 50,000$ would not only help me invest in my music studio more but also would be how to help my loved ones who have been struggling. My parents have been in and out or debt there whole lives due to many reasons, especially when my sister had leukimia at 8, also my dad's heart condition has gotten worse and I want to be able to provide for them by being useful investing into my dream to be there for them all in the ways I know they had done for me.
