Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My parents both raised me and my sister in a house of love and music so they were my first inspirations. As I grew up, Brandy, Janet & Michael Jackson, Luther Vandross, Usher, and many more became my go-tos.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
As this would be the largest stage I'd ever performed on, I can imagine the amount of new listeners I'd gain from this show! But more than that, I can imagine how many thousands of people I could impact from the messages in my music. So many people would be able to find strength, love, and confidence in themselves, and that would truly give my entire career a wealth of meaning!
What would you do with $50,000?
I would finally be able to get back to doing music full-time; not just for myself but with the artists and producers I've been working with along the way. I would be able to finally give my indie label the push it needs to get closer to success and solidify the platform I want to build for other artists like myself to get their dreams accomplished.
