Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Our musical inspiration consists of a wide array of artists from bands like P.O.D., Tool, Rush, Van Halen, Pillar, Disciple, Mutemath, Deftones, and Chevelle to name a few. Ultimately our goal is to play the kind of music that moves us first and foremost, whether it follows trends or sets them is an afterthought. In that mindset, we've really honed our sound to something that possesses facets of these artists, but is ultimately unique to us.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would be an incredible honor. We have been playing shows all over the Midwest for several years now, but this would be our biggest festival appearance to date. It's easy to hide behind production on recordings, but we've been known to bring a very high-energy organic show with little to no backing tracks. We know we can win over a crowd to the Adamic fandom if given the stage.
What would you do with $50,000?
We would definitely use it to pay off some recording debt. We're currently self-financing a full-length record that will be released some time next year. We would also finally be able to afford proper promotion for the new release. Some of it would also be re-invested into merch and equipment. And it would be nice to have a little bit of a payday after a decade of hard work.
