Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Radiohead. The Stone Roses. The Who. Kate Bush. The Cranberries. Jefferson Airplane. Pulp. The Ravonettes. Our influential eras were Swinging London, Laurel Canyon, Britpop, We are also a very socially conscious and have two strong feminists in our band. We are inspired by both the beautiful and the bleak, wildlife, (two reavers in the band), the beauty of nature and our relationships with animals domestically and wild. We are inspired by sting , young activists such as Greta Thunberg
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
To take our music to such a broad audience would be the dream of a lifetime. We have worked very hard to create a very recognizable sound exclusive to Afraid of Grace. We are mostly Gen Xers who have spent six years writing original rock and roll music that we believe will impress listeners across the current generations. We are quite professional and are absolutely stage ready and strongly believe that live music must be quality performance art aw well. We would certainly tour.
What would you do with $50,000?
We would donate some to worthy causes and create a great video for a single in our second album which we are about half-way complete.
