Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I believe music becomes part of our lives based on a moment in time. From what we are experiencing, who we are with, sounds and chords that stop us from the hustle and bustle to pause and listen. I also grew up dancing so I personally experience music in a movement form as well. So many amazing songs, artists and albums I cannot possibly list them here. Reba, Jewel, Alanis Morsette, Adele, Prince, MJ, Madonna. Divas, Classic Rock, 60s through our amazing leading chart toppers of today! Love it!
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would be an absolute honor to be a part of the Global Citizen Festival. Its more about the impact and global change through community awareness to me then about a career gain. To be able to use my skills and talents to be able to impact people around the globe to make a change together would be a privilege.
What would you do with $50,000?
This last year of my life has been very hard for me financially as single mom. So as amazing as it would be to donate it to something I could really use it to give my daughter and I some breathing room! But I would love to have the ability through this as a career to be able to support Domestic Violence Victims, Pediatric Cancer Pilars, and maybe an annual scholarship for youth using music to impact their communities.
