I’m very authentic to my self. A lot of my music doesn’t have super deep poetry or chord progressions you have to study to understand.

Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I’m all over the board. I love hip hop, rock, pop, jazz, blues etc. From Eminem to Linkin Park. My music sounds more like Green Day, QOTSA, a little Santana. There would be a lot to name. You can hear a lot of my inspiration through different songs. I hear my music like radio songs from the ‘90s and early 2000s.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would be a tremendous opportunity. I’m just happy to be here.
What would you do with $50,000?
I’d buy some new gear, put a ton of it into recording sessions and if things are going well maybe get a van, that would help with touring. I could really turn my music from a hobby to something real with that money.
