Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I am doing this all for my children. I was raised by my mom, never really had a dad in my life. I want my kids to have great memories of me, and be comfortable. I have 6 children. 4 boys 2 girls. Six years ago I was diagnosed with CHF stage 4. The doctors gave me 5 years to live. As a father I have the need to leave them something from me, and to make sure they are set up for when I'm gone.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Oh man I would be so honored. The crowed I know would love me and word of mouth from the audience I know would be a good review to get others to check my music out.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would set it aside into a savings growing account for my kids to share.
