Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Life inspires me and music is my outlet. There’s no direction. Just feeling. I let go of all ideas of music theory, or playing “right”. Those are basic compared to spontaneity. When I feel emotions, I get inspired to express it in music. It is a form of healing too to be able to have an artistic outlet. How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
The impact would be a true level up in my career. I have never played in a festival before. I have played in theaters, auditoriums, stages, and bars. But nothing this large. It would be the time to showcase my talent and my music. It would be a true honor for me to be in such a position. Not to just my career, but my life. All I really wanted to do is music. It will be an emotional and spiritual experience all together. And I hope I inspire others as I perform.
What would you do with $50,000?
Start a business related to music. A club that serves food and refreshments while musicians can play on a stage to accompany to costumers. The food will be easy-social food instead of fine-dining. This is because the type of music will not be “classical” or type that are common in fine-dining. The music is going to be expressive and moving, so people would not need silverware. Tacos, burgers, pizzas, any grab-n-go food. In terms of liquor, I have to be smart with the location.
