Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My grandma is a big inspiration—she sang on the radio in Brazil before I was born, and music connects me to her. I’m also inspired by powerful women like Shakira, Kehlani, Jhene Aiko, Rihanna, Elyanna, Cardi B, Nicki Minaj, and Selena Quintanilla, who all broke barriers and made their voices heard.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at Global Citizen Festival would give me the exposure I need to reach new audiences and connect with the right people to grow. I’m old school and not tech savvy, so this platform would help me break through in ways I can’t alone. It would also be a dream come true—doing what I love full-time while proving to the little girl inside me, and to everyone who doubted me, that I can make it.
What would you do with $50,000?
I’d save 25% for my daughter’s future, invest 50% into better music and content to grow my career, and donate 25% to children or schools in need abroad so they can have the tools to chase their dreams too.
