Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My inner child’s dream of becoming who I’m meant to be, and life stories are what inspire me, i stitch those stories with melodies and poetry. For this era of my career, my debut EP, “Heartbreak Motel” is a record inspired by singer-songwriter and indie-folk-pop artistry. Allowing myself to sing raw and pour my hurt, allowing my pen to write my truth which resonates with many.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would allow people, new ears, to connect and find themselves in stories and melodies sung and written in ways they maybe didn’t even know they needed to hear which would impact my career directly, allowing me to find my people.
What would you do with $50,000?
Re-invest in music, new songs/album, marketing and promo. And pay a month or three of rent, hah.
