Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My earliest inspirations were artists like Mariah Carey, Beyonce, Lauryn Hill, J.Lo, Aaliyah & TLC -voices that helped shape my love for music and performance. But the first time I heard a voice that made me want to pursue a career in music was Jasmine Sullivan. In more recent years, I've been studying Brandy and Whitney Houston. Even though I didn't grow up on them, their vocal mastery has deeply influenced me. Artists like H.E.R., Chris Brown, and Kehlani continue to inspire me as well.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would be a huge step forward-not just for exposure, but for the kind of impact I want to have as an artist. It's a platform that stands for something bigger than music, and that aligns with what I aim to share. My music comes from a place of healing-whether it's joy, peace, or release-and having the chance to bring that energy to a global stage would be a powerful way to grow and connect with people on a deeper level.
What would you do with $50,000?
I'd use $50,000 to invest in my growth. Funding recording, visuals, marketing and performances to elevate my music and reach a wider audience. It would also help me build a strong team and give me the support I need to keep developing and moving forward in my career.
