Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My creative mother and father are my inspiration. My father designed sailing yachts. The Raven (called "the first muscle car of sailboats) was his big success. My mother composed a broadway musical for her enjoyment. Myself, being an eclectic and creative, I explore all manner of creativity: in music, poetry, writing, and photographic art. While performing violin with the Florida Symphony, I was commissioned to compose and perform a ballet for the Orlando Dance Company.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Being a retired symphony violinist and music teacher, I'm too old now for a music career. I'm just willing to share my music to those who you think would appreciate it. I realize it is not in vogue with so much of today's popular music in country, rock, jazz, fusion, rap, or new age. I just wanted to give my unique stamp on the sound and be diverse in the comp style within the instrumentation. I'm a one man band. My YouTube channel will show the diversity.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would use it in different ways. Primarily, publish my unique sci-fi screenplay and see if I can get that off the ground. I believe it would make an amazing and inspiring film by surprising the audience in the future of man unknown before.
