Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My father (Rey Fonseca) a Colombian singer and producer, he’s my main inspiration
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Connections with great artists and promoters I think are essential for artistic development, I am an independent artist and together with my dad we have been making music since I was a child. To have an opportunity to collaborate and make connections with other artists would be huge for the art we could make, the people we could reach, as well as my development as an artist.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would first invest what I could in some equipment for recording. I mainly use my dads equipment and studio back home in Colombia, but sometimes it is nice to create music just myself—it is such a personal and private experience when making music that sometimes being alone in a studio just feels right. With anything left over, I would pay for a flight for my dad to come visit, as well as for a song feature from Junior H!
