Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I grew up playing drums in multiple metal and punk bands. when I wasn't doing that, I was freestyling in the halls at school. My dad is a musician and a teacher of music theory, so it was always in the house. Early inspirations include Biggie, Pac, Limp Bizkit, Beastie Boys, Tech N9ne, Eminem, NWA, Andre Nickatina, Korn, Living Legends, Atmosphere, Linkin Park. The list goes on and on. Music is in my blood and soul.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would dramatically impact my career. Being from Maui, we musicians here are very isolated and cut off from the rest of the world. Having a chance to step onto a stage of this magnitude would be beyond my wildest dreams, and if given the opportunity I will bring the heat. I will be one of those sets that people talk about once I get off the stage. This I can humbly promise.
What would you do with $50,000?
Well, I would continue what I've been doing. I recently dropped my debut album "MOVING WITH AMBITION" featuring Lil Wyte, Saigon, JamWayne, Lex Bratcher, and Henry AZ. All entirely independently made, funded, promoted, and released by myself. I suppose I would do it all over again because I love making dope music! Aloha from Maui, Hawaii!
