Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My music inspiration started in church but as I got older the blues and jazz took a hold of me like no other. The way that it made me feel. The pain that you could hear in the music. It made me want to make music that made people feel. That made people know they had a true soul that can’t be tainted.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would impact my career in a major way because I would be able to exude positivity and light to the whole world. Show them that love and healing can still be a great thing.
What would you do with $50,000?
20,000 would go into savings for my son. 5,000 would go to education in my local neighborhood and 25,000 would go to me opening up my own music school
