My versatility as an artist. Tracks like "500 Days" and "Doormat" demonstrate my ability to sing and rap to a high standard.

Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I would say that the interactions I have with fans after my shows serve as my biggest inspiration. I can distinctly remember times in my life where I heard songs that related to what was going on for me at the time. Having someone articulate what I was dealing with through their music was helpful and I've always wanted to do that for others. I'm proud to say that I have and I treasure those moments where members of the audience tell me about their life and how it relates to one of my songs.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I think that the festival would give me great opportunities to network and would further legitimize my career and my ambitions. I performed at a festival last year in Canada which featured Fat Joe and Polo G and being involved in the event allowed me to make some great connections. One of these connections gave me the opportunity to open for Bankrol Hayden in March of this year. Also, having a performance at Global Citizen Fest on my resume would be huge and serve to attract bookers/agent.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would invest the money in a number of areas. Firstly, a portion of the money would go towards studio time and paying for mixing/mastering. I would also spend money on music videos and already have a director in mind (@shirazzee on Instagram). I would also spend money to attend several prominent music conferences such as Departure in Toronto. Lastly, I would enroll in online music business courses at Berklee. I have taken an online class at Berklee and found the course very informative.
