Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I have many musical inspirations, including Faye Webster, Beach House, Maggie Rogers, Kacey Musgraves, and Daniel Caesar.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I think it would completely change my career in that it would give me access to building a fanbase and community in a larger way that is not as accessible to me right now as a small, independent artist. I would stand out in a way that is tricky to achieve on social media where it's easy to be swallowed up by so many other people pursuing similar dreams and audiences.
What would you do with $50,000?
Honestly, I would pay off my student debt. I acquired student debt while going to school at Belmont University, and it's something that weighs on me a bit, like I know it does so many others. If I could achieve that financial freedom, I would be able to allocate my income more strategically within my artist career, and eventually, more charitably towards others.
