Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I’m inspired by the music of my parents and the sounds I grew up with—hip hop, R&B, neo-soul, jazz, African, Latin, rock/pop, electronic, and world music. Artists like Michael Jackson, Snoop Dogg, A Tribe Called Quest, Nipsey Hussle, Anderson .Paak, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Dr. Dre, Oscar Peterson, and Herbie Hancock shaped my sound and spirit.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would elevate my voice to a global stage, connect my music to movements, and inspire unity, reflection, and change. It would also put me on the map and help my music reach millions around the world—opening doors for impact and collaboration.
What would you do with $50,000?
I’d invest in professionally recording and releasing my music, support my family, and improve our quality of life. I’d also launch businesses I’ve dreamed of—like a vegan health food kiosk or restaurant, especially in South Africa, to promote wellness and create opportunities in my community.
