Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My inspirations are Andre 3000, Janelle Monae, Blood Orange. As far as I can recall at a young age I was always drawn to music that wasn’t the “standard” sound that it was placed within a genre for me that was “Outkast’s: Speakerboxxx/The Love Below” album. Throughout the project you’d hear Andre & Big Boy tackling different genres such as Funk, Folk, Disco, R&B, many more. But yet it was labeled as a hip hop album & to me that wasn’t
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the festival would introduce me to an audience far beyond my current own which isn’t a lot. It will also allow me to share my story through my music with thousands of people & who may also feel as lost & broken as I sometimes do in this world. So my goal overall is to connect with other misunderstood people through my music.
What would you do with $50,000?
1)I’d pay for my debut tour costs. As well as visuals, merch production, filming location costs, overall engineering/production/featuring costs. 2)I’d also use the money to pay for audio distributions, sample clearances, vinyl production costs. And traveling costs.
