My Family, I come from a musical family, from vets in the biz to enthusiasts who wouldn’t dare sing a tune. Music is universal and connects us all for the greater good.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Global Citizens would allow us to exhibit the community we share locally—on a Global stage. We appreciate our platform and we are all for expansion of community.
What would you do with $50,000?
We would continue our mission— bringing together local businesses, artists and art educators who value community building and racial equity in the nation’s capital. Our initiatives promote individual creative growth and work towards bringing community events, art education and food security to D.C.’s marginalized youth and residents. We believe in fostering an open dialogue of resistance through storytelling and raising the voices of marginalized POC, women, and queer identifyi
