Who or what is your musical inspiration?
1. Musical inspiration comes from so many different aspects of our lives. We all grew up punk, experiencing so much through meeting new people and exploring new territory together. Ancient Rage is heavily inspired by Motorhead, early punk, and good ol’ rock n roll. People we meet inspire songs, places we travel, feelings we don’t understand. The inspiration for our creativity is endless.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
2. To be able to preform at the Global Citizen Festival would be unbelievable. Throughout all of our lives, music has contributed to so much more than amazing sound. We all have built our chosen families while contributed to the creative society. Being able to preform at a Festival like Global Citizen will project our career onto the path that we have been working towards, and will never stop working for.
What would you do with $50,000?
Presented with the prize of $50,000, this would go towards the continuation of Ancient Rage, and our community. We are apart of a huge group that puts on shows to uplift musicians from all over, helping some complete tours and earn more funds to do so. $50K would definitely help out with Ancient Rage recording time, but more-so, being able to help our good friends who own smaller venues keep thriving is a huge priority. As small venues are evaporating, we find importance in keeping them alive.
