Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I would have to say Arca, she's a Venezuelan artist and producer that continues to defy the limits of sound. Every single time she creates a different world within her projects with sounds you never thought they were even possible to create. All of that accompanied by intriguing visual pieces that look like a puzzle from far away, except all the pieces are put in the wrong places to form something completely different. That's just the beauty of sound, it's infinitely ever-evolving.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I would define my first project as a prelude to the start of something greater, something deserving of much wider platform. For me performing at this event would give me the opportunity to communicate my feelings with a huge community, creating connections with people that would have never found themselves connecting either my music. My sound touches upon topics that we have buried very deeply within us and i believe personal transformation is an experience we can all relate to.
What would you do with $50,000?
I'm inspired by a lot of visual media and always try to express myself not only sonically but also through visual art, as you can see in my artwork and social media posts. In a perfect world I am able to tell the story behind my album through a film, I believe it deserves so much more coverage and an opportunity to be seen from a more wider angle. Not to mention my passion for creating more opportunities for artists just like me, building a creative agency where we can offer resources for them.
