Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My music is a testament to my life’s struggle and the journey of being an up and coming artist with all the downs. It can only go up from here! My inspirations are Adeline Predesca (Late Mother), Michael Jackson, Marvin Gaye, Sade, Ronald Isley, Lauryn Hill, Bob Marley & Bobby Caldwell.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
This would widely impact those that have watched me say since a kid that I’m going to change the world. Losing both of my parents very young would make this a pivotal life moment for me and the world while being a living testament of chase your dreams no matter how hard life gets. Performing at GCF, would not only change my career, it will change my entire life and everyone who has ever come across me in life. What would you do with $50,000?
Find a place to finally call Home, create an emergency fund for any future emergencies, secure transportation to pass onto my Children and Family. Invest into making a safe space for making intimate and largely impactful world music and also start a universal brand that benefits Orphans & Homeless all across the world. This is my dream.
