Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Music is the heartbeat of humanity, and it should belong to everyone—especially those who are often dismissed, overlooked, or pushed to the fringes. My inspiration comes from the raw, unfiltered power of live music to break down barriers and unite people. I believe in creating spaces where the unheard are amplified, where the marginalized feel seen, and where the magic of a live performance isn’t a privilege but a right. I want my music to be a lifeline for those who need it most.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing for the Festival would be positively life-altering because not only would it propel my professional career, but my soul and heart would be impacted which in turn impacts everything I do. How I perform, the people I meet, the friendships I gain in musicians and fans, the message I convey through music, and the lifeline I give to all young, old, and in between.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would like to pay off what I owe for my new album which will be released this year. I would like to tour to areas where live music is not as accessible, perform and also do music workshops as I am also performing in particular for children and for assisted living facilities. (I do this now but I would buy some new equipment so I can do more)
