Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Some of my biggest musical inspirations are the band Queen, Olivia Rodrigo, and Sabrina Carpenter. As of now, my released songs have a sort of ballad and heartbreak sound that comes from my great love for Olivia’s music. However, I intend to experiment with different sounds in the future, with references to my other two greatest inspirations.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would give me a lot of exposure to an audience, as well as some experience performing in front of a huge crowd. Ever since I can remember, my ultimate dream has been to become a singer, so I’ve worked hard at my craft the past few years. Now, all I need is for there to be people who will listen to my music and feel inspired or like they have someone they can relate to. Performing here would give me the opportunity to do just that!
What would you do with $50,000?
With $50,000, my first goal would be to buy the necessary materials to make my own in home-studio. Instruments, speakers, microphones, and more of good quality will allow me to keep making music, but much better than before. Additionally, I’d fly out to cities like Los Angeles and New York to audition for anything I can, in hopes to progress my career. I was also raised to be generous, so I’d like to be able to help my family and others who aren’t as fortunate lead a good life.
