Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Dreams. The visions that push me to be more and to do more. Sharing intimate lyrics that are a testimony of my life’s trials, tribulations and lessons. The more that I can push my songwriting, means the more I can be of service to the audience. Remembering my adolescent dreams continue to redefine personal success. This is what drives me.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Since my adolescence I have sung and performed on many stages. From early on, I work towards making that next show better. To perform at Global Citizen my career certainly but it would be my life that would be greatly impacted. My goal is to be in front of an audience that I may not otherwise have an opportunity to sing in front of. This stage is a lifetime opportunity to share my story. A lifelong journey to this audience. A real dream come true.
What would you do with $50,000?
First, my financial obligations will be paid. Then, I would like to continue recording new music and releasing another album! Third, donating in my community and helping those closest to me. Thank you for this opportunity. I am truly appreciative and grateful.
