Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My father was a DJ for several years, so our album collection at home was wildly diverse. I'm influenced by Ella Fitzgerald, Lady Gaga, Frank Sinatra, Patsy Kline, Natasha Bedingfield, Eminem, Mario Lanza, Judy Garland, Bob Dylan, Billy Joel, The Who, Nat King Cole, The Glenn Miller Orchestra, The Beatles, Sophie Tucker, Doris Day, Satchmo. Yup, diverse!
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Are you kidding me? Can we say exposure and thrill performing for a hungry, music-loving audience? It would be bucket list fulfilling! All I want is to share my musical sensibilities and storytelling with as many people who would appreciate it, and just keep finding my audience.
What would you do with $50,000?
I have an ambitious show in mind that will take time and resources. Not only would I like it to be a live concert show, but also an album. The money would make this project HAPPEN! ☺️
