I am NYC pop rock Drag performer with years of music and performance experience under my tucking panties. I’m Anne Tifah and so are you
Thank you for generously supporting Anne J Tifah in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to empower Global Citizen in their mission to eradicate extreme poverty and create a world where everyone has an equal chance to thrive.
Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Ballroom culture, electronic rock, and pop icon culture of the 80s and 90s. I grew up with legends that knew how to fill a room with effortless energy and I strive to bring that same energy every time I touch a stage.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I would be the first Drag performer in history to perform at GCF with this genre of music and the level of artistry I deliver. It would not only benefit me but Drag and Queer artists worldwide.
What would you do with $50,000?
Create an arts collective that prioritizes Deaf and Disabled artists to have equitable access to networking, equipment, and education they deserve, and helps Hearing and non-disabled artists make their art and tours more accessible and inclusive in situations where funding is the main barrier.
