Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Music is in my blood, my parents always had soulful music playing since I was a baby, and sacrificed so that my brothers and I could learn different instruments. My parents inspire me to create something special.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would definitely be my biggest performance ever, and special given I intended the festival in the past when Stevie Wonder (one of my idols) performed. Would it get me a record deal? Probably not, but it’ll definitely influence me to keep working hard and accomplish my dreams.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would take a breath for once. Instead of working overtime at my job I can use some of that time now to keep creating music and singing. That is the ultimate goal, to get to a point where I can do this full time and take a chance!
