Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I was mostly inspired by Blink 182 growing up, was introduced to Hip Hop by my mother who's favorites were DMX and Method Man. I love the fun, punk side of Rock and Roll, and was drawn to Hip Hop by the messages they were relaying. It wasn't until later I realized what they all had in common was the anti-establishment/ "stick-it-to-the-man" mentality.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
This would catapult not only my career, but the dozens of artists I work with. I feel like if I could get in front of a crowd like that, get their attention then I would be able to keep it and use it to fuel the local events I host for the community.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would use it to grow my business, focused on connecting with the community through art and music. I host events in my community that not only give local artists an opportunity to perform, but also generates funds that are donated to the community. I would use it to secure the equipment I need, lower the cost of my events so I can generate more to advertise the events and more to the artists that perform/display their work.
