Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I’m Deeply inspired by the works of Andrew bird, Lianne la Havas, route 500, Man Man and the big wide world of jazz, psych rock, and indie folk music.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing means everything to me so It would be life altering. It’s would bring my music to and audience that has never had the opportunity to hear me so new folk impact and share my story with. I have been relegated to exclusively playing shows in NYC which has been amazing but I think it’s time to take my music to places it’s never been before.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would use it to market and produce my sophomore album and the facilitate my very first tour in the US. It’s been so difficult waiting years to stockpile funds from gigs and working to fatten my body of work so I could actually put the full force of my new songs on display in a way that never could alone.
