Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My musical inspiration is a blend of Maxwell, D’Angelo, Erykah Badu, and Meshell Ndegeocello, soulful storytellers who heal through sound. Music is my way to process the world’s energy and emotion. It’s always present, whether you’re working, shopping, or just trying to breathe. For me, it’s more than sound. It’s clarity, healing, and a way to reconnect with yourself.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would be a breakthrough. It’s a chance to rise above the noise of social media and return to the heart of what I love, music. Today, artists juggle so many roles that it’s easy to lose focus on the craft. This stage would let me create and perform with full intention. I'm ready to show the world who I truly am.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would invest in every part of my career, from production and visuals to building a team that allows me to create without limits. There have been so many moments where powerful ideas had to be put on hold because I didn’t have the funding or support to bring them to life. I’d also give back to the musicians who’ve stood beside me on this journey. We have so much more to share with the world, and this would be the fuel to make it happen.
