Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I’m inspired by artists that tell deep, emotional and psychological stories through music & cinematic concepts. The ones that blend powerful concepts with high art — from bands i listened to as a teen like Evanescence and Epica, to the ones ive discovered in the past 5 years, like RIMON, Raveena, DPR Ian, & FKA Twigs.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at GCF would be career-defining. As an Indo-Canadian artist, it would elevate South Asian representation in music and expand my global reach—opening doors to new audiences and opportunities. It would position me as a rising voice in alt R&B, building space for people to heal, transform, and feel understood. This is more than performance—it’s cultural and emotional impact on a global stage.
What would you do with $50,000?
I’d elevate the vision for my upcoming album by building a deeper visual world around the music. I’d create a short film scored by a medley of songs, with each moment unfolding like a chapter in a novel or episode in a series. Through moving music videos that blend editorial fashion, cinema, & visual mixed media, I’d tell transformative stories about trauma & transformation, and invest in promoting a deluxe release, live/acoustic versions, iconic merch for the GEMs &
