Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I travelled quite a bit as a kid and I was exposed to a gargantuan gamut of genres, truly eclectic ! When I arrived in Canada I discovered my first songwriting hero, John Lennon! My musical inspiration are artists with distinctive vocals, unique and meaningful songwriting and memorable 'hooks"! How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I have one single regret in my life! It took me 20 years to realize that "songwriting" was NOT just a hobby. I really wish I would have know that earlier! I honestly thought that It was too late for me to break into the industry...until I was "hand-picked" by TOP HITMAKER :) I though I was done! I have hope now :) Performing at the festival would be a dream come true! If I get to the later stages, I will "hand-pick" my new band "THE TITANIC LOBSTERS"
What would you do with $50,000?
50K would give me the financial freedom to invest not just in my music career but also other musicians I consider more talented that I am. I can't do this NYC gig alone! The 50k, in turn, gives our band members the financial freedom to make career choices that are NOT constrained by money. "THE TITANIC LOBSTERS shall not have to worry about paying their bills!
