Who or what is your musical inspiration?
The majority of my inspiration to make music comes from me though, and simply trying to better my craft. A lot of my music is very fun to remix and mess around with in ways unheard of. SOPHIE is a big musical inspiration of mine. Her braveness and tone fully changed the way I view music. Aphex Twin also inspired me a lot. He helped me understand that music can convey emotion without lyrics.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would give me a chance to show the world the good in music and how it can bring peace to the world. There’s so many emotions to be expressed and let out through sonics. I feel as though only someone like me could truly bring a crowd of many different people from different upbringings together in peace.
What would you do with $50,000?
All of it would go back into my music, and equipment for my music, so I can make lush, extensive, beautiful work. Art that anyone could listen to and feel themselves in it.
