Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My musical inspiration would be Prince as a male and Whitney Houston as a female. They both had careers that spanned decades and they made music that changed lives. I want my music to change lives for decades to come.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I’ve literally been working so hard as an independent artist to create and brand myself but it’s so much harder without help and support. This would put me on a platform that could help girls like me see that we are people and we deserve to be heard and seen.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would funnel it into my career in launching my first album and opening my first business. I have so much talent just not the financial backing to get my EP off the ground. I’ve hand written all my songs and I’m just ready to make the world hear my voice and know my name. I would also take my grandmother on a vacation while she’s still alive to celebrate life.
