Who or what is your musical inspiration?
First music I remember hearing was Black Sabbath piping up through the floor vents in my room. That opening Ironman rift resonated with my soul. Metalhead born. I was 4. Where I'm from anything that wasn't practical was snuffed out. Well 40 years later.. that inspired me to start writing music.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I feel it would catapult me into over drive. I'm 52 and I need to active. I have enough left in my for a 20 year run at this. I have the drive of a 25 year old but the wisdom of a 52 year old. This is a life gamble not a take a shot at your dreams. It's not a better luck next time because there won't be a next time. All I want to do get my songs out there and maybe have somebody enjoy them have a good time.
What would you do with $50,000?
Reinvest into what just won me the $50,000. Set enough aside to make living comfortable for the amount of time it will take for me to write a new album a debut album.
