Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Our families and the stories of triumphs and challenges. The Blues is about the music but also storytelling and history. As children of the Blues, we are inspired by some of the greats like Muddy Waters and Albert King, but also by the women of the Blues who gave their own perspectives and highlighted different stories & concerns.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would allow us to highlight the foundational and root genre of American music and bring it back in the hearts of younger listeners who have shied away from it.
What would you do with $50,000?
Help with travel funds to share our music but also go into the recording studio to record our first album.
