Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Our inspiration comes from poetry, literature, and poets-turned-musicians like Patti Smith, Jim Morrison, and more recently the collaboration of Anne Waldman and Thurston Moore. Musically, we draw from punk and post-punk icons like Siouxsie Sioux and Public Image Ltd., as well as more experimental groups like Slint and Sonic Youth. Each of us brings a unique voice, and we’re deeply shaped by the energy of NYC’s underground music scene.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Playing Global Citizen Fest would be an absolutely transformative moment for us. Coming from the underground NYC scene, this opportunity would allow us to connect our raw, poetic sound with a global audience. We’d bring a unique and unexpected energy, blending noise, goth punk, and experimental poetry, that will challenge and move listeners in a way they didn’t see coming. It’s a chance to reach new fans, spark fresh collaborations, and take our music to the next level.
What would you do with $50,000?
We’d record our debut album and hit the road on tour. This support would help us bring our sound to new cities, grow our audience, and make the leap from DIY shows to a wider stage. It’s a chance to turn our vision into something lasting and share it with the world.
