Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My inspiration from music comes from a bunch of things. My mom had a tremendous love for it and her collection was extremely extensive. My older cousin used to rap as I was growing up and gave my brother and I a mixtape with instrumentals. My love for music grew even more when I was placed into an Orchestra where I played the violin since I was 9 all the way through high school. I was in the chorus as well which truly gave me the love for live music, harmonies, and melodies.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I think this would impact my career in an extremely positive way. Right now I have a song that’s really buzzing a little bit and I’m my city I’m growing a nice fan base. I feel this opportunity would really jump start my career and give me the content I need. I also really enjoy performing and in front of thousands of people will truly be amazing.
What would you do with $50,000?
Honestly the first thing I’d do is take a trip to LA and go get some music and videos done. I would put a good amount of the money into marketing and then give like $10,000 to my grandmother to help her at home.
