Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My dog, Theo, my loving fiancé, the atrocities to which this country currently bears witness, the humanities and the welfare of my communities. All to the tune of an Americana-inspired indie sleaze.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would greatly impact my career. It would allow me and my creative network to sustain monetarily and put in the time to record and tour responsibly. The exposure of the festival would also help us connect with kind hearted folks who may feel what we feel in our music, too.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would leverage $50,000 with my current music life. I’d finance our next record and our loft with a small portion, put some into touring/representation. I’d use it to fundraise for Pittsburgh’s communities in need. $50,000 is a lot to spend. It would be best spent making sure we’re creating interest with it with our work as we keep working.
