Who or what is your musical inspiration?
For the longest time I looked up to these heavy hitting reggaetoneros. Daddy Yankee, Rakim y Ken Y, Don Omar, Tego Calderon etc but it took a really long time to find my sound. Hector Lavoe, and Willie Colón are my biggest inspiration because they fought against the mainstream just like I am
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
The exposure of performing at the Global Citizen Festival would be incomparable. My music is meant for every age, and every generation, being able to display that and share that with the audience would not only expand my fanbase which is the obvious benefit but I'd be able connect my love for music to fans who love it too
What would you do with $50,000?
As the only Canadian Latin Artist doing something different and against the maintstream "Bad Bunny" vibe, with $50,000 I'd finally be able to execute a Canadian tour where I'd identify equally talented Canadian Latin Artist in each province and territory to perform alongside me so together we could all rise up and lift the Latin-Canadian movement to finally show The Junos that we too should have a category. There are thousands of Latinx in Canada and we deserve a voice too. Thank you,
