Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My first musical inspiration was my dad (now deceased) I have fond memories of him playing guitar when I was a kid. I knew I loved music and then soon learned how to play, then became inspired by ALL forms of music. I find inspiration in every day life and situations. Stories need to be told. I have had people tell me my songs helped them in some way. I hear famous artists say the same thing, this tells me I’m on the right track with my musical journey. I love to inspire others as well
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I think it would allow me to share my music with the world and allow me to create more music to help people or help inspire them. Making the world a better place one song at a time is a worthwhile goal.
What would you do with $50,000?
Likely use it to record more music and donate to children’s music programs as they are the future of music. Having a positive role model in many different genres is always a great start. I was inspired at a very young age (8) by my dad. I carry this inspiration with me to this day and do my best to pass it on.
