Who or what is your musical inspiration?
The melodic darkness and noisy attitude of Kurt Cobain, The Breeders, Joan Jett, Green Day mixed with the emotion and fun of pop music like Madonna, Gaga, Bowie. Also i'm from Argentina, meaning that Latin music and Latin rock combined in this mix are inevitable! Charly Garcia, Soda Stereo, Julieta Venegas, Shakira are some of the influences I aso grew up with. I define my music as "filth pop"; combining all of the music that I love together.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Maan it'd definitely expose my project in ways that nothing has before. It'd put this bilingual, filth pop music that I make in front of the american music industry. It wouldnt be not just an honor but it'd be huge for me and this project. Latin America has great things to offer musically and if i'm lucky, Id be honored to represent my country on that stage.
What would you do with $50,000?
With $50,000 I'd put money into promoting my upcoming debut album (marketing & PR), I'd take my band to play shows in Mexico and Argentina, and it'd help me start building my studio. Also it's hard to live in Los Angeles so it'd definitely help with rent!
