Who or what is your musical inspiration?
In the name of the Lord, the Most Merciful—thank you to the Top Hitmaker team for this opportunity. My inspiration is rooted in pain and purpose. From being labeled a “Paki terrorist” as a student in Australia, I turned trauma into art. Artists like Metro Boomin, Kendrick Lamar, Dave, 21 Savage, and Skepta inspired me to create “Pakistani Drip”—a fusion of trap and Brown Grime that reflects real stories and brown pride.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at Global Citizen would amplify a genre I birthed—Brown Grime, born from struggle, identity, and resistance. It would bring South Asian voices to the global stage and unify my team across Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, and beyond. This platform would make our message—of resilience and rhythm—impossible to ignore.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would reinvest into Brown Grime Records, yes I’m an entrepreneur as well who owns his own label, and have invested in couple of businesses and assets. I’ve empowered myself financially through passive incomes before stepping in the industry to empower art for cross-border Desi producers, and build a creative safe space for misunderstood youth. I’d fund music videos, mobile studio setups in underserved areas, and promote regional talent globally. The goal: build legacy, not
