Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My music blends 80s new wave, 90s underground pop-punk, and 60s surf with a mod flare, drawing influences from The Cure, New Order, The Clash, The Specials, Madness, The Descendants, The Vandals, The Buzzcocks, The Go-Go’s, The Bangles, The Beatles, The Beach Boys, and Jan & Dean. The Jam’s mod style and the raw rock spirit of Joan Jett also shape my sound, creating a fierce, dynamic mix of modern energy, surf harmonies, and retro charm.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I’m sure it would do something. You never know how an audience will respond.
What would you do with $50,000?
If given the chance, I would first support my mother, who is living with aphasia and still recovering from a stroke. I’d also help my daughter, who experienced a profound loss during the COVID-19 pandemic—a tragedy that affected me deeply as well. I would use the opportunity to finally catch up on the financial setbacks I faced during that time and begin to rebuild my life.
